International Society on Oxygen Transport to Tissue (ISOTT)

ISOTT promotes research into all aspects of the processes involved in the transport of oxygen from the air to its final consumption in the cells of the various organs of the body. It organises an annual conference and publishes the conference proceedings Oxygen Transport to Tissue in the Springer book series Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology.

Membership

The purpose of ISOTT is to facilitate exchanges among those interested in any aspect of the transport and/or utilization of oxygen in tissues.

Forms and Fees of membership

Application for membership

  • Full membership
    Anyone with a graduate degree is eligible.
    $100 per year

  • Student membership
    Anyone enrolled in a graduate program (Masters or PhD) is eligible.
    $25 per year

  • Emeritus membership
    For senior scientists who have retired from full time employment as scientists and who requested emeritus status.
    no membership fee

An application must bear the signatures of two approving ISOTT members and be submitted to the ISOTT Secretary. At the following meeting of the ISOTT Executive Committee, the application will be reviewed and then submitted for action at the annual business meeting. The affirmative vote of a majority of those present and voting shall be required for acceptance.
